These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Weavv mobile app, website, and related services (collectively, the “Service”) operated by Weavv (“Weavv”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By creating an account or using Weavv, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About Weavv
Weavv helps groups coordinate events — finding times, places, and plans that work for everyone. The Service includes mobile apps, web pages, messaging, notifications, and related features.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Weavv. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
If you use Weavv on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
3. Your account
- You may sign up with a phone number, email address, or other methods we support.
- You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure and for activity under your account.
- Notify us promptly at gav@weavv.io if you suspect unauthorised access.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or pose a security risk.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Weavv for anything unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent
- Harass, abuse, threaten, or impersonate others
- Send spam or unsolicited messages through the Service
- Upload content that infringes someone else's rights
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorised to access
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service
- Use Weavv to collect or process sensitive personal data without proper authority and safeguards
We may remove content or restrict access that violates these rules.
5. Your content
Your content means information, text, photos, event details, and other material you submit through Weavv.
- You retain ownership of your content.
- You grant us a limited licence to host, store, display, and transmit your content solely to operate and improve the Service (e.g. showing your RSVP to an event host, delivering an invite you send).
- You confirm you have the rights to share any content you upload and that it does not violate these Terms or applicable law.
Other participants in an event may see information you choose to share in that event context (such as your name, RSVP status, or dietary preferences relevant to the plan).
6. Invites and messaging
When you invite others via SMS, email, or other channels:
- You confirm you have permission to contact those people.
- You are responsible for the invites and messages you send.
- Standard carrier or messaging fees may apply to recipients.
Weavv is not responsible for messages sent at your direction to contacts you select.
7. Permissions and device access
Some features require device permissions (calendar, contacts, location, photos, camera, notifications). You can grant or revoke these in your device settings.
- Calendar: Weavv reads busy/free times on your device. Event titles and details do not leave your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
- Location: Used to suggest your area. We store the area name, not precise coordinates.
- Contacts: Used only to help you invite people you choose.
Your use of permissions is also subject to your device platform's terms.
8. AI-assisted features
Weavv may use automated tools to help parse or suggest event details. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming any plans before sharing or acting on them.
Do not rely on Weavv as a substitute for professional advice.
9. Third-party services
Weavv integrates with third-party services (e.g. calendar apps, maps, messaging providers). Your use of those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services.
Links to external sites are provided for convenience. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Weavv reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the current version at https://weavv.io/terms and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms. For material changes, we may provide additional notice in the app or by email.
11. Termination
You may stop using Weavv and delete your account at any time through the app or by contacting us.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued provision poses risk to the Service or others. Upon termination, sections that by nature should survive (including limitations of liability and dispute terms) will continue to apply.
12. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that Weavv will meet your requirements, that plans will succeed, or that availability suggestions will be accurate for every participant.
13. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weavv and its directors, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) £100.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (including fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence).
14. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Weavv harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, your invites or messages, or your breach of these Terms — except to the extent caused by our negligence or wilful misconduct.
15. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EEA, you may also have mandatory rights under local consumer protection law.
Disputes should first be raised with us at hello@weavv.io. We will try to resolve them informally. If we cannot, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
16. General
- Entire agreement: These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Weavv regarding the Service.
- Severability: If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
- No waiver: Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our rights.
- Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
